Rock Terrace Privacy Notice
At Rock Terrace we take your privacy seriously and are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers, visitors to our website and subscribers to our mailing list. On this page you’ll find information on how we treat data that we collect if you join our mailing list, place an order with us or visit our website.
Visitors to our Website
When someone visits www.rockterrace.co.uk we use our web hosting service, Weebly, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. For example, to see which products receive the most views. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
When you place an order
When someone places an order with Rock Terrace, we collect the customer’s name, delivery and billing address(es), email address and telephone number. This information is used to deliver your item and to correspond with you during the design process. For instance, if you purchase a made-to-order item we will email you photos of the piece before dispatch, or in the case of large or bulk orders we may need to phone you to discuss delivery logistics. When Royal Mail cannot be used (which is the case with the majority of our orders due to the size of the parcels we send) we use Interparcel to book deliveries within the UK, and Transglobal Express to book deliveries to the USA and Canada. We need to supply your address, name and contact details to these companies to facilitate the delivery of your parcel. Please refer to these businesses’ privacy policies for more information.
Our mailing list
As part of the registration process for our mailing list we collect email addresses. We use that information to tell you about new products, offers, sales or other news from Rock Terrace that might interest you as a member of our mailing list. We might also occasionally contact you to check that our records are accurate and that you're happy with our products and services.
We use a marketing automation platform called MailChimp to deliver these mailings. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our email campaigns. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Catherine Harrison ([email protected]).
We don't rent, sell or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Links to Other Websites
Occasionally we might reference other websites on www.rockterrace.co.uk. This privacy notice does not cover links to other websites. Those sites are not governed by this Privacy Policy, and if you have questions about how a site uses your information, you’ll need to check that site’s privacy statement.

You are entitled to access the personal information that we hold. Email your request to Catherine Harrison [email protected] with the email header ‘Privacy’.
